I don’t really believe this.
I just wrote this post for the headline and sub-headline so you could like, comment, or share it on your social media profiles to earn internet points. No one’s going to actually click into the article and read this far.
Anyone who agrees with the headline will just nod their head and continue scrolling. Anyone who disagrees will get angry and reply that you’re a simp. Either way, any feud in the comments will never reflect on you, just those wrestling in the mud.
Do what feels right to you. If anyone happens to read it and calls you out on it, just tell them you’re trying to challenge society’s assumptions — and their confusion is proof of how much more work we need to do.
